Do I need the squad selection first?
Yes. The plan is built on the squad selection so you can place the starters in the phases and set pieces.
Analyse the opponent once and keep it for the return fixture. Tell your team what to do in each phase and each line, with the starters already placed on the board, add set pieces, objectives and the keys to the match, and take it all to the team talk as a PDF.

Opponent analysis often ends up in a slide deck used once. When you meet the same team again later in the season, nobody can find what was prepared, and instructions to the team are given verbally with nothing written down.
In NeoTactIQ the game plan is built on the real squad selection, stores the analysis with the opponent and links its objectives to the post-match report.
The plan list shows upcoming and played matches with the status of their plan. The plan is prepared once the squad selection is done, so you can place your starters in every game phase and every set piece.
Blocks are configurable: you can hide, reorder or remove them, and nothing is saved until you click “Create plan”.
The opponent block covers their summary (system, league position, points, context and recent results), their likely starting eleven on the pitch, key players, how they behave in each game phase and their set pieces: who takes them and how they execute them.
That analysis is saved with the opponent, so you pick it up again for the return fixture or the following season without redoing it.
The opponent analysis is saved and reused for the next meeting.
For each phase —attacking organisation, defensive organisation, attacking transition and defensive transition— you write a title, the main idea and instructions by line: forwards, midfielders, defenders and goalkeeper.
Each phase has its own board with the starters already in place, so the team sees where they need to be and not just what they need to do.
Add own set piece blocks with set plays from your library and the takers from the squad selection, the objectives and rewards you agree with the squad for that match, and the keys to the match you want the team to remember.
The full plan exports to PDF for the team talk and the dressing room.
After the match, its objectives come back in the match report as a traffic light: what was achieved in each phase, in the rehearsed set pieces and in the keys. So the plan does not stay on paper.
